UPDATE: Charges laid against suspect in Quesnel who fled from police

A 24-year old man is now facing charges in connection with a police incident on Thursday (April 13) night.

Kyle Ford is facing one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle and flight from police, and two counts each of breaching a release order and breaching a probation order.

He’s due back in court on April 24th for a bail hearing.

Quesnel RCMP attempted to stop a vehicle that was driven by a man known to be a prohibited driver.

A spike belt was eventually deployed to disable the vehicle.
