Quesnel gets ready to rumble !

The 2 Rivers Boxing Club in Quesnel will host Rumble #31 tomorrow (Saturday) night.

Coach Wally Doern goes over the card.

“We are looking at 11 bouts.  The main event this year will be Evan Lee versus Tim Treithroeb of Prince George.  Evan (17) is very skilled, he has good head movement and he’s hard to hit. He’s just an all around good boxer.”

Doern says there will also be a rematch in what was the fight of the night during Rumble #30 back in October.

“Brooklyn Olson (14 yrs) will be boxing Adesah Guitard again from Prince George.  That was quite an entertaining match last year.  Brooklynn edged out a decision but we’re expecting a very tough fight for that one.”

Doern says 60-year old James Mott is also on the card against Duncan McLellan out of Williams Lake.

The doors will open at 6 and the first bout will take place at 7 o’clock.
