Former BC Premier John Horgan to step down as MLA

John Horgan has announced he will be completely leaving the political space in March, when he will step down as the Lanford-Juan de Fuca MLA.

He stepped down from the role of premier in November, citing his second battle with cancer as the reason.

His departure means a by-election in his riding will be called at some time in the next six months.
