Williams Lake brothers bringing back medals after Water Ski Championships

Brothers from Williams Lake competed in the IWWF Pan American Water Ski Championships in Santiago, Chile.

In a release from Water Ski Canada, they said that Linden and Lucas Pinette found success at the event, as they’re bringing back a total of 4 medals.

Linden will be heading home with a silver medal, after his U14 team finished 2nd overall in the tournament.

He also had personal best performances in all events he competed in. Those were slalom, tricks, and jumps.

Lucas is heading coming back with two gold medals and a silver.

The golds come from the U17 team finishing first, along with Lucas placing on the top spot in the jump event. The silver medal was achieved through the overall results.

The release stated that in a little over a month, Lucas will be returning to Santiago, Chile to compete at the 2022 IWWF World U17 Water Ski Championships.

The Pan Am Championships are held every two years, and brings the best of the Pan American region together.
