Quesnel team shines at the District Volleyball Championships in Prince George

The Quesnel Junior School (QJS) grade 8 girls team brought home the silver medal from the District Volleyball Championships in Prince George.

They were 2nd out of 14 teams.

The River Hawks (formerly the Spartans at the old school sites) went a perfect 3 and 0 in the round-robin.

They didn’t drop a single set in beating both Prince George Secondary and College Heights to open the playoffs, before losing to Cedars Christian School in the final.

The grade 8 boys team was a respectable 6th in their tournament.
