Swing and a Miss for Environment Canada as No Snow Falls

A snowfall warning was issued for the Cariboo yesterday (November 21st), however, mother nature had other plans.

While the Cariboo saw no snow during the day, it still fell elsewhere.

“So the accumulation through the central and western parts of the Cariboo haven’t been as high.” says Alyssa Chardonneau, Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada.

“Where the snow ended up falling, and is continuing to fall is further to the east towards the Cariboo Mountains, where (it’s) a little bit higher elevation, temperatures are a little cooler.”

If the Cariboo manages to get any snow today, Chardonneau said that it should taper off this evening.

From there, we’ll start to see conditions clear out for a mix of sun and cloud tomorrow.
