Update: Quesnel motorists advised not to travel to PG unless absolutely necessary

DriveBC has lifted the travel advisory between Quesnel and Prince George.

The roads are now cleared between Finning Road and Chamulak Road.

The advisory came into affect due to freezing rain, which made drivers take caution if using the road was necessary.

The update to the road conditions came at 4:12pm.

DriveBC has put out a travel advisory for those looking to go from Quesnel to Prince George.

The advisory covers both directions taking place between Finning Rd and Chamulak Rd for 79.3 km.

DriveBC said that due to freezing rain, drivers should stay off the road if it’s non-essential travel.

They also ask that drivers take extreme caution and drive carefully, if you so choose to take the road.
