Preliminary Inquiry set for woman accused of murder near Quesnel

A date has been set for a Preliminary Inquiry for a woman accused of killing a man in the Quesnel area.

49-year old Lona Lynette Cole is due back in court on November 30th.

Three days have been set aside.

Cole is charged with second degree murder and manslaughter using a firearm.

The charges are in connection with the shooting death of Robert Douglas.

RCMP were called to a residence just outside of Quesnel off the Barkerville Highway in July of 2020.
