Representatives from a gold recovery company were in 100 Mile House to make a presentation to the Committee of the Whole.
The end goal is for IMG Gold Recovery to place a facility in town that would out of an existing warehouse on Sollows Crescent.
IMG Representative Steve Hanson explains the plan for the area.
According to IMG, the gold recovery process is green, uses little water, and is low in energy cost while bringing a few more jobs to the community.
