Camping reservations will be opening up soon for those looking to plan out the next trip.
At 7:00am on January 3rd, multiple BC Parks’ campsites will be open for people to reserve.
Now, people will be able to book a site 4 months in advance, instead of the previous 2 month booking window.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy said that campers voiced that they preferred the 4 month window to book their campsites.
On top of that, more campgrounds will be added to the new reservation service for the 2023.
The Bowron Lake Provincial Park’s Canoe Circuit will be open for the entire 2023 season on December 1st, at 7:00am.
The BC Parks reservation service launched back in March 2022, which included feedback given through users to improve the system. This included 5,000 users that helped provide feedback.
