Documentary On Gold Rush Trail Ghostly Mysteries And Things That Go Bump In The Night

Three spirits in search of spirits along the historic Gold Rush Trail will be featured this weekend in a 2-part TV documentary.

Paranormal investigators, Corine Carey, her sister Leanne Sallenback, and their friend, Kelly Ireland, took a road trip from Yale to Barkerville solving mysteries and witnessing hauntings along the way.

Sallenback said she can’t reveal what they uncovered while visiting all the historic towns within the trail but she did offer this tease.

“People who watch this will be very interested to see us go into the 108 barn. There are so many rumors, I heard all the rumors before, like all the possible stories and hauntings, and it didn’t disappoint.”

Carey said during BC’s gold rush in the 1800s the area was booming with tens of thousands of people from around the world and that there were a lot of murders, a lot of deaths, and people who didn’t make it to the goldfields in Barkerville.

That was one of the reasons for their journey and she explained the other.

“In the last couple of years we were getting calls from certain people who know we’re from up here, and it became this hot spot for paranormal activity with the hundreds of stories we were told and these claims got more intense. We were kind of questioning ourselves about what’s going on so we decided to take the task on.”

Video evidence and never before seen photos of suspected ghosts who haunt historic towns within the Gold Rush Trail will be revealed this weekend in a special TV documentary.

Haunted Gold Rush will be shown this Sunday night, October 30th at 9 on T& E
