100 Mile House to Have a Warm Few Days

The temperature in the Cariboo has seen a dip, however 100 Mile House looks to break out of that mold.

The warm weather will only last a few days being above double digits, but will come with some rain.

“100 Mile House is a bit further south, and also a bit closer to the mountains and in this case we have a stream of moist coming sort of from the southwest, that’s going to bring some warmer conditions up and over.” says Alyssa Chardonneau, Meteorologist for Environment Canada.

“That’s gonna make temperatures a couple of degrees warmer towards 100 Mile House, than in the Cariboo.”

Chardonneau added that there will also be some gusty winds, with the temperatures looking to cool down on Monday and beyond.

She also wants drivers to be aware of some potential cross-winds, since there will be strong gusty winds.

For Quesnel and Williams Lake, the temperatures will be near double digits but won’t get to that point until the weekend.
