An emergency training exercise will be taking place at the Williams Lake Regional Airport on Tuesday, October 25th.
The exercise will be hosted by the City of Williams Lake, and will be taking place from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
It will also involve the Williams Lake Fire Department, Williams Lake RCMP, Central Cariboo Search and Rescue and the BC Ambulance Service.
This is to test the emergency response plan for the Williams Lake Regional Airport.
While the exercise is going on, there will be no interruptions to any flights, however anyone heading to or at the airport should be aware of significant presence of emergency response activity during that time.
