A Preview into Tonight’s 100 Mile House Wranglers Game

The 100 Mile House Wranglers will be hitting the ice this evening to face the 3-5-0 Kamloops Storm at home.

The Wranglers look to have another win on home ice, however there is a challenge that lies ahead.

“We’ll start Tysen Smith, he’s been really good for us. He’s been a game star every time he played, so he’s a pretty good goalie.” says Dale Hladun, Head Coach and GM of the Wranglers.

“We are going to be shorthanded tonight. We’re running very low on numbers, we’ll have an affiliate come and join us tonight, but I do think we’re ready for the challenge. We’ve been playing very well at home.”

So far this season, the Wranglers are 1-6-0, with their first win coming from the Revelstoke Grizzlies 4-3 in shootout at home. Hladun intends to look at the team in front of him, and what it could bring.

“I know our record is unappealing, but the talent isn’t. We’re full of rookies again, we only have a couple 20 year old’s and a couple 19 year old’s, and we have a lot of school age kids.”

“I’m excited about the potential, like their upside is crazy good.”

After tonight, the Wranglers will be on a short road trip for Friday and Saturday, and return home on Sunday. The Wranglers look to keep their focus on tonight’s game against the Storm.

The game against the Storm will begin at 7:00pm, at the South Cariboo Recreation Centre.
