The Williams Lake Harvest Run is Back for the 7th Year

The 7th annual Harvest run, walk and bike is back at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex on Saturday, October 15th.

All community members are invited to the event, with any form of active transportation, such as rollerblades, strollers, skateboards and more.

The event is to encourage residents to stay active and healthy year round.

“Just dress up for the weather, and come on out to the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.” says Maria McKee, Adult Program Coordinator for the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.

“Come ready for a fun warm-up with our fitness instructor at 11:15, and be ready to get active. There’s free registration there, just fill out a waiver and put it in the draw box.”

Participants at the event can also take part in I Spy the Pumpkin/Scarecrow while on the harvest run route.

The route will run as a loop around Proctor Street and up First Ave, and then down Comer Street and up Second Ave to Moon Ave, and then onto Boundary Street onto Comer, and back to the Complex from Forth Ave and Proctor.
