Quesnel boxer wins title south of the border

A Quesnel boxer was a champion in Portland, Oregon over the weekend.

Brityn “Hurricane” Carter claimed the title at the Rip City Classic tournament.

Carter won a unanimous decision over Alexandria Luby from Idaho in the semi-finals, and then beat Joceline Sanchez from Salem, Oregon in the final in another unanimous decision.

She has now won 14 straight bouts.

Carter is back home in Quesnel getting ready for her next fight coming up during Rumble number 30 on October 22nd.
