A lot of Williams Lake residents took advantage of the opportunity to vote early in the municipal election yesterday. (Wednesday)
502 votes were cast at an advance poll.
That was more than twice as many as Quesnel, where 240 people voted early.
100 Mile House had 186 early votes, and that was the only opportunity to vote before election day in the South Cariboo.
There will be another advance poll at City Hall in Quesnel coming up this Saturday between 8 am and 8 pm.
Another advance poll will be held in Williams Lake next Wednesday on October 12th at City Hall.
General voting day is on October 15th.
