Alexis Creek Boil Water Advisory Has Been Lifted

The Cariboo Regional District has advised all residents in Alexis Creek that the boil water advisory has been lifted.

The notice was originally issued on September 14th due to a chlorine pump failure.

Water samples were taken on Monday and Tuesday of this week, with a chlorine sample taken on Wednesday.

Interior Health gave the go ahead to lift the advisory, as two required tests came back all clear consecutively.

If residents do smell chlorine in the water, they are asked to run their taps for a few moments until the smell is gone.

After that, residents in the area can now resume with their regular water use.

For more information about the advisory, you can visit the CRD website here.
