After 7 days of covering 850 kilometers on bicycles, Cops for Cancer Tour de North came to its completion.
16 participants that started the journey back on September 14th in Dawson Creek ended their ride yesterday afternoon when they rolled past the finish line in Williams Lake at Canadian Tire.
Georgia Hennessy Jackson, Manager and Fundraising Communications at the Canadian Cancer Society and Tour lead said the reception they received was wonderful.
“We had lots of members of the public come out and make a donation and we were able to announce our final fundraising total which was $150,998”.
Jackson thanked all the generous communities that supported the Tour all the way and look forward to doing it all over again next year.
