Quesnel Residents To Be Nominated For BC Award

Quesnel City Council will nominate local residents Paul and Terry Nichols for a BC Community Achievement Award.
The Nichols were the face of the Communities for Veterans Ride Across Canada that just wrapped up.
Paul spent more than 8 months and 6 thousand kilometres in the saddle.
Mayor Bob Simpson says the City is also contemplating other ways to honor the Nichols’ accomplishment, perhaps something like a key to the City sort of thing.
The deadline for nominations is January 15th.
The B.C. Community Achievement Awards celebrate British Columbians who go above and beyond in their dedication and service to others and who devote time and energy to making their communities more caring, dynamic, beautiful, healthy, and unique
