A concert to benefit a haven for women and their children who have been physically, sexually, or emotionally abused gets underway tomorrow.
Renowned vocalist and 100 Mile House resident, Ingrid Mapson shares how the concert came to being.
Mapson says the concert will be a unique experience for those who attend.
50% of the proceeds from the concert will support the Chiwid Transition House.
The concert takes place in Williams Lake at St. Peter’s Anglican Church at 3 pm.
Admission is by donation.
