The Cariboo Fire Center is responding to a 10-hectare wildfire approximately 10 kilometers northwest of loon Lake and 17 kilometers south of Green Lake.
Fire Information Officer Adam Nicholas said they do have ground personnel and air tankers on scene.
“Additional aircraft, heavy equipment, and firefighters are on their way there,” Nicholas said, “At this time no structures are threatened and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.”
