It was an early morning for members of the 100 Mile House Fire Rescue as they responded to a call at a Norbord office building off Exeter Station Road
Property damage was minimal and no one was hurt says Fire Chief Roger Hollander who provides some details about the call:
“We had 12 members on scene with our apparatus. We did see a fair amount of smoke in the office and were able to clear that smoke and confirm there was no fire anywhere else in the building.”
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, though it is believed to have been caused by a failure in the electrical system at the office.
