Crews Respond To Early Morning Fire At Williams Lake Mobile Trailer Park

Update:

Several Emergency Response Units were on the scene of a trailer home fire earlier today in Williams Lake that had closed off 11th Avenue.

Deputy Fire Chief Joan Flaspholer said they received multiple calls this morning at 7:30 about a fire at the Fran Lee Trailer Court.

“We responded with 3 engines and upon arrival, there was quite a bit of smoke showing from the structure. We set up and were able to contain it to that structure and got it extinguished.”

Flaspholer said there were no injuries and that the fire is still under investigation.

The Williams Lake Fire Department is on the scene battling a mobile home fire in the Fran Lee Trailer Park on 11th Avenue.

Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sargeant Del Byron said they responded to a call for assistance from the Fire Department at 7:30 this morning.

Byron said the area is cordoned off and according to neighbors no occupants appeared to be at the home at the time.
