Thefts from vehicles are up from 54% compared to last year according to the latest crime stats released by the Williams Lake RCMP.
Also on the rise include break and enter into business-up 25% from 2014, as well as mischief which increased by 11% when compared to last year.
On the decrease meanwhile is robbery which plummeted by 150% as well as calls for service down to 7,272 compared to 7,409 last year.
When compared to 2008, the stats from January 1st through October 31st show an overall decrease.
