City of Williams Lake Partners With Transparency Website

The City of Williams Lake is inviting residents to explore a new website to gain a better understanding of the operations of the City and to see where their tax dollars are spent.

OpenGov is a financial transparency website which features the city’s finances over a five year period and displays budget and expenses for all departments and divisions in graph form.

The City has partnered with financial transparency website Open Gov to enhance access, understanding, and analysis of the City’s annual budget and operations.

The City says the partnership with OpenGov expands their efforts to provide financial information to citizens.

The site can be viewed here.
