The McLeese Lake Volunteer Fire Department received some much-needed help on Monday in their efforts to fight fires in the winter.
Gibraltar Mines donated 10 water totes, each holding up to a thousand liters of water.
“I heard they have a lot of these totes that they can’t really get rid of them or landfill them so they sort of need to be re-purposed,” said McLeese Lake VFD Society President, Ian Hicks.
“They’re perfect and in beautiful shape.”
Hicks says this is not the first time they received a donation from Gibraltar Mines.
Three years ago the Mcleese Lake Volunteer Fire Department was given $10,000 for their fundraising efforts.
