Wranglers Exorcise Powerplay Demons, Beat Ghostriders 5-1

It’s only fitting that a long-dead Wranglers power play came back to life on Halloween to lead the home team to a five-one victory over the Fernie Ghostriders.

The Wranglers scored four goals with the man advantage in a chippy affair that saw seventy-eight penalty minutes assessed between the two squads.

100 Mile House had only scored eight goals on the power play coming into the game for a 9.8% efficiency – good for 19th in the league (out of 20 teams).

Goaltender Zane Steeves stopped thirty-seven shots in the win – his tenth of the season.
