The BC Coroners Service has released the names of two people who lost their lives in a motor vehicle accident in Williams Lake over the long weekend.
29-year old Shayne Christopher Fair and 42-year old Christopher Grant have been identified as the victims.
Both were from Williams Lake.
Fair was the driver and Grant a rear-seat passenger in a Jeep Cherokee that was traveling south on South Lakeside Drive just before 1 am Saturday morning.
RCMP say the vehicle went out of control, rolled and ended up on the railway tracks on the east side of the road.
Both victims were deceased at the scene.
Police say a female occupant in the vehicle was transported to a Vancouver hospital with serious injuries.
