A disappointing end to what was otherwise an outstanding season for Quesnel’s Junior Bantam football team.
They went through the regular season undefeated but unfortunately ran into a very determined Prince George team in the Championship game on Saturday. (Oct 24)
36 to 30 was the final score on a cold, damp day in Prince George.
Brett Neighbour had a pair of touchdowns for Quesnel and Bradley Williams and Bradley Lojstrup also found the endzone.
Quesnel was a perfect 4 and 0 during the season, including a pair of wins over Prince.
The team will hold it’s year end banquet this Sunday.
