Two Quesnel athletes have qualified for the BC Cross Country Running Championships.
Ruby Nicholas won the senior girls race at the zone championships at West Fraser Timber Park in Quesnel on Saturday.
She completed the 4.3 kilometres in 23 minutes and 37 seconds, a full 52 seconds ahead of second.
There were 18 competitors in that race.
And her sister Claire was third in the junior girls race, out of 36.
The provincials will take place at Jericho Park in Vancouver on November 6th.
