One of two people charged in seizure of firearms in Williams Lake to go to trial

One of two people charged in connection with a firearms investigation in Williams Lake has been ordered to stand trial.

35-year old Jennifer Bach is due back in court on November 22nd to set a date for trial.

Bach is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle, and possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition.

A charge of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose has been dismissed.

39-year old Trent Gullickson was also charged in connection with this case.

He was found unfit to stand trial at a Preliminary Inquiry.

According to RCMP, the Cariboo Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit stopped a vehicle during an active firearms investigation back on June 23rd, 2020.

Police say a male and a female were in possession of a dozen firearms, 8 pellet guns, prhibited magazines, and several hundred rounds of ammunition.
