Potential COVID-19 exposures continue in Cariboo Chilcotin schools

More dates and Cariboo Chilcotin schools have been added to Interior Health’s potential exposure events list.

Interior Health lists Cataline Elementary School in Williams Lake as having a potential exposure event on October 15th.

October 18th has been added as a potential exposure event for Lake City Secondary Columneetza Campus.

Other dates in School District 27 schools include:

  • Lake City Secondary (Columneetza Campus), Williams Lake – Oct. 8th, 12th-15th, 18th
  • Chilcotin Road Elementary, Williams Lake – Oct. 8th, 12th, 13th
  • Marie Sharpe Elementary, Williams Lake – Oct. 12th-15th
  • 100 Mile House Elementary, 100 Mile House – Oct. 11th-13th

Interior Health says when a school staff member or student tests positive for COVID-19, public health will notify staff and students who need to take a specific action such as self-monitoring or isolation, as a result of a COVID-19 exposure.

Northern Health’s official public exposures and outbreaks webpage does not have any schools in the Quesnel School district Listed.
