More potential COVID-19 exposures at Cariboo Chilcotin schools

New dates for some schools in Williams Lake and 100 Mile House have been added to Interior Health’s potential COVID-19 exposures list.

  • Lake City Secondary (Columneetza Campus), Williams Lake – Oct. 8th, 12th-15th
  • Chilcotin Road Elementary, Williams Lake – Oct. 8th, 12th, 13th
  • Marie Sharpe Elementary, Williams Lake – Oct. 12th-15th
  • 100 Mile House Elementary, 100 Mile House – Oct. 11th-13th

Interior Health says when a school staff member or student tests positive for COVID-19, public health will notify staff and students who need to take a specific action such as self-monitoring or isolation, as a result of a COVID-19 exposure.

Northern Health’s official public exposures and outbreaks webpage does not have any schools in the Quesnel School district Listed.
