Lac La Hache Elementary added to Interior Health school exposures list

Interior Health has listed Lac La Hache Elementary as a potential exposure event.

The dates listed for potential exposures at the school are September 23rd, 24th, 27th, 28th and 29th.

New dates have also been added for potential exposures for:

  • Williams Lake, Cataline Elementary – Sept. 23rd, 27th, 28th and 29th
  • Williams Lake, Nesika Elementary – Sept. 23rd, 24th, 27th, and Oct. 1st
  • Williams Lake, Lake City Secondary, Columneetza Campus – Sept. 23rd, 24th, 27th-29th

Other schools within the Cariboo/Chilcotin School District still listed include:

  • Williams Lake, Chilcotin Road Elementary – Sept. 23rd and 24th
  • Williams Lake, Marie Sharpe Elementary, Sept. 27th
  • 150 Mile House, 150 Mile House Elementary – Sept. 23rd

Sacred Heart Catholic School is also listed as having a potential exposure on September 23rd.

Interior Health removes listings 14 days after the most recent exposure date.

The official Northern Health public exposures webpage does not have any listings in the Quesnel School District.

Prescribed burn scheduled for patch of land within Williams Lake Community Forest

A prescribed burn will be taking place on Dipping Road, 10 kilometres west of Williams Lake, north of Highway 20 along the Fraser River within the Williams Lake Community Forest.
