It was a normal September weatherwise in the Cariboo according to Environment Canada.
Meteorologist Nan Lu says temperatures were slightly above average for the month.
“The normal temperature for September is 10.3 to 11.5,” Lu says, “the past September we just had, the average temperature was 11.2 to 12.4, so slightly warmer than average.”
For precipitation, Lu says the normal precipitation for September is between 40 to 56 millimetres for the whole month, and we had from 35 to 62 millimetres across the Cariboo.
Lu says the seasonal forecast is calling for a near-normal October for temperature, and a slightly above normal for precipitation.
