According to the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, construction has begun on a temporary access road connecting Arnoldus Road to Kersley-Dale Landing Road.
The Kersley-Dale Landing Road’s page on the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects website says construction work will take place Mondays through Saturdays, with the occasional Sunday, and is anticipated to be completed in late November.
The page also says Geotechnical investigations are ongoing, including aerial LiDAR surveys, and ground movement monitoring, as well as an engineering analysis of potential transportation solutions.
