Canadians emptied their wallets and filled their stomachs for McHappy Day on Wednesday.
Across Canada, more than $4.5 million was raised for the Ronald McDonald House Charity to help give families with sick children a place to stay when their children need to travel for treatment.
Locally, $5,830.58 was raised at the Quesnel McDonalds, and $5,657,86 was raised at the Williams Lake McDonalds.
