900 residents weigh in on CRD’s Talk Less Trash Survey, business input wanted

The Cariboo Regional District says nearly 900 residents participated in the recent Talk Less Trash Survey.

The CRD will be conducting a workplace survey seeking input from owners, managers and staff of Cariboo businesses and institutions. The CRD says this survey will identify the kinds of waste Cariboo businesses are generating, as well as identifying opportunities to work together to divert recyclables and compostable materials from the landfill.

According to the CRD, businesses account for 43% of the 45,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste generated annually in the Cariboo.

The survey is available on the CRD website.
