Thompson Rivers University will be giving faculty, staff, and students at the Williams Lake campus an opportunity to get vaccinated next week.
The university is hosting a vaccination clinic for students at the Williams Lake campus on September 13th and 14th from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, rapid testing clinics will be open at the campus starting on September 20th.
These are for asymptomatic faculty, staff and students, and will be overseen by fourth-year nursing students.
Masks are required indoors at TRU campuses, but may be removed if:
- Working alone in an office
- Seated and working in a cubicle/study space physically distant from others.
- Faculty members teaching a class who are able to remain physically distanced from students.
- Students presenting at the front of a classroom or lecture hall, and are able to remain physically distanced from others.
