The BC Rodeo season is over after cancellation of year end event

The Year End Rodeo, that was set for September 18th and 19th, has been cancelled.

The BC Rodeo Association says the deciding factors in the decision were “ensuring financial prudence for the BCRA and the use of fundraising money, as well as the betterment of the BCRA and its members for the foreseeable future.

There were basically an extremely low number of entrants.

NOTICE ON BC RODEO ASSOCIATION WEBSITE:

The BCRA Board of Directors & Office regret to inform you of the cancellation of the Year End Rodeo (09/18-19).

This decision was not easy to make and has not been taken lightly. Ultimately, the deciding factors were ensuring financial prudence for the BCRA and the use of fundraising money, as well as the betterment of the BCRA and its members for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately, the extremely low number of entrants does not make this weekend feasible and does not benefit the association as whole.
Please stay tuned for the presentation of season leader buckles, a gentle reminder that all memberships are valid for next season as well.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you, and are looking forward to working through these challenges to bring you a bigger and better 2022 season.

Thank you,
BCRA Board of Directors
BCRA Office
