CEO of Barkerville thrilled with 2015, looks forward to 2016 with big plans

The CEO of Barkerville isn’t taking long to enjoy the historic town’s very successful 2015 season.

Ed Coleman confirms that they surpassed their goal of 60 thousand visitors this year and that they are eyeing 65 thousand next year and then 70 thousand in 2017.

Coleman says they have more big plans for their campgrounds for next year…

“Well, I have a very large submission in for upgrading the campgrounds to get more services-water, power, and sewer and more cabins,” he said.

“Accommodation is the highest request for our customers.”

Coleman says they have 161 campsites and 6 cabins right now…4 at the Government Hill sire and 2 at Lowhee.
