Thanksgiving Sweep For Cougars

It was a Thanksgiving sweep for the Cariboo Cougars on the road in the BC Major Midget Hockey League season on the weekend.
The Cougars defeated the host North Island Silvertips 4-2 in Nanaimo on Saturday.
Williams Lake’s Chase Dubois paced the offence with a goal and two assists.
The Cougars won 6-2 on Sunday.
Williams Lake’s Colton Thomas had a goal and two helpers and Quesnel’s Keith Redden scored his first goal of the season in that one.
Griffin Outhouse, from Likely, was in net for both wins as the Cougars improved to 6-1 and 1 on the season.
That puts them in 2nd place in the 11-team league.
