The BC Liberals are calling on Premier John Horgan and the NDP to provide proper accommodation for medical exemptions when it comes to COVID-19 vaccinations.
The Party indicates in a new release that it continues to support the efforts of public health officials to get people vaccinated to ensure people’s safety and to provide a pathway back to normal.
But Interim Leader Shirley Bond says the reality is some people cannot receive a vaccine for serious health and medical reasons.
“It doesn’t seem fair that these British Columbians, through no fault of their own, will be denied access to certain activities.”
The release goes on to say that many of these people have disabilities who already experience isolation.
