Police in Williams Lake looking for suspect wanted on weapons charges

Williams Lake RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman who is wanted for some weapons offences.

Sharma Delorma Char is wanted on an outstanding warrant for charges of Possession of a Firarm Without a License, Committing an Offence with a Loaded Firearm, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Char is described an an Indigenous female, who is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 185 pounds.

She has black hair and brown eyes.

Char also has ties to the communities of Quesnel and Kamloops.

The public is warned not to approach her, but to instead call 911 immediately if she is located.
