Student Vote Paints Different Picture for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo

If youth were served, the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo would’ve had a significantly different outcome… at least according to the results of the StudentVote

37 percent of participants cast votes for Liberal Steve Powrie – possibly in part because of his background as an educator – with New democrat Bill Sundhu finishing second with 28 percent.

Actual winner, Cathy McLeod was the student’s third choice at 21 percent with Matt Greenwood’s Greens showing gains but still fourth at 13 percent.

115 Peter Skene Ogden students cast ballots in the mock vote, along with 19 from 100 Mile Elementary and 10 from Lac La Hache elementary.
