A wildfire was discovered near Saint Joseph’s Mission Friday morning and is now under control.
Wildfire Information Officer Erin Bull says when firefighters arrived, it was determined that logging operations were the cause of the fire.
Bull says the logging crew was actioning the fire, and no action was necessary from the BC Wildfire crew.
The fire was listed on the BC Wildfire Service map as 0.01 Hectares.
