It appears an accident in the South Cariboo looked worse than it was.

RCMP, 100 Mile Fire Rescue, and BC Ambulance were all called to a single-vehicle roll-over collision in the Gateway area just east of 100 Mile in the 54 hundred block of Canim-Hendrix Road at 10-24 this morning.
Witnesses say they saw a blue minivan in the ditch after more than a 150-meter run, which appears to have involved at least one or more rollovers.
Police say the driver and lone occupant, a 55-year-old female who is a local resident, had entered the right side of the ditch and appears to have mistaken the gas pedal for the brake, causing the van to accelerate and flip and roll at least one time.
Witnesses stopped to assist and removed her from the vehicle prior to emergency officials attending.
RCMP says the woman was transported from the scene with an expectation to be flown out of the area by Air Ambulance.
That later changed, however, and she is now expected to recover fully at the local hospital.
