Advance polls for the 42nd General Election took place across the country.
Elections Canada reports that 3.6 million Canadians took advantage of the advanced polls to cast their vote – an increase of 71% over 2011.
Numbers for the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo and Cariboo-Prince George ridings are expected within the next few days.
