Wranglers Ground Eagles

The penalty kill was perfect as the 100 Mile House Wranglers overcame their Achilles heel en route to a five-one thumping of division rival Sicamous.

The Wranglers, who came into the game with second worst penalty kill in the league, blanked the Eagles vaunted powerplay on seven opportunities.

Justin Bond of Williams Lake had the game winner and added an assist in the win.

Kyle Lindstrom, who left the game early due to injury, had his first KIJHL point – an assist on the fourth goal.

The Wranglers are back in action tomorrow (Saturday) versus the big, bad Columbia Valley Rockies.
